A new painting 'Station' is to be shown in the forthcoming group exhibition Compendium, at Castlefield Gallery in Manchester. The exhibition runs from the 25th November until 23rd December, with the opening on the 24th November, 6 - 8pm. Compendium expands upon the Castlefield Gallery Print Portfolio, exhibiting a selection of originals and exclusive editions. Other artists exhibiting are Gordon Cheung, Elaine Constantine, Rachel Goodyear, Chris Jones, Mark Leckey, Olivia Plender, Carole Romaya.
Berliner Liste 2005
Who Watches the Watchers (part 2) will be shown by Zavier Ellis/Clapham Art Gallery at the Berliner Liste, in association with Art Forum, at Umspannwerk Kopenhagener Strasse between September 29th and October 3rd 2005.

WIDESHUT presents the first in the series of collaborative editions, working with a number of key producers in the arts, including visual arts, film, music, and others...
The first collaborative edition by Castlefield Gallery is an anthology of works from a range of visual art practice dealing with the idea of ‘sampling’ images and references from film and the moving image. Artists include: David Alker, Beagles and Ramsay, t s Beall, The Cartwright Brothers, Gordon Cheung, Elaine Constantine, Shezad Dawood, Paul Farley, Rachel Goodyear, Tom Hackney, Riccardo Iacono, Chris Jones, Pil and Galia Kollectiv, Carol Romaya, Paul Rooney, Erica Scourti, and Stephen Sutcliffe. Plus Memento (Some Notes on Film, Memory and Sampling: The Mechanism of Association in Contemporary Visual Practice) an essay by artist and curator Sophia Crilly.
The magazine is released in October 2005 - each hand-numbered limited edition of 1000 will include an exclusive comic book by artist Olivia Plender - The Masterpiece - Part 4, A Weekend in the Country (2005) supported by Arts Council England North West, Esmée Fairbairn Foundation and The Granada Foundation.
SPACE Open 2005
Hey Jerk! to be shown in the SPACE Open 2005. A distinguished panel of selectors Sacha Craddock (Writer, Curator and Critic), Bea de Souza (Director, The Agency Contemporary Gallery) and Danny Rolph (Artist) have selected seventeen SPACE Studios artists from open submission.Peter Abrahams, Leigh Clarke, Stephen Colson, Tobi Deeson, Tom Hackney, Mark Harris, Robert Holyhead, Sophie Horton, Ben Judd, Lee Maelzer, Jost Munster, Bill Osment, Olivia Reynolds, Piers Secunda, Stephen Setford and Akane Takayama.

Young Masters
A new painting Solitary Tree can be seen at 'YOUNG MASTERS' 23 June - 4 July - 148A St John Street, London EC1. Curated by Flora Fairbairn and Catriona Warren, this group exhibition spotlights an emerging trend: the use of the Old Master iconography in contemporary art. 'Young Masters' is a part of Art Fortnight London.
